Atrium, World Bank Group Headquarters, Washington DC

Learn how we can create lasting opportunities for vulnerable and often excluded populations. This session will feature a TED-style presentation by renowned chef José Andrés, who founded the World Central Kitchen to use the power of food—together with an extensive chef network—to empower vulnerable communities and strengthen economies in areas of greatest need around the world. The session will also include insights from IEG Director-General Alison Evans and a discussion moderated by international journalist Julie Gichuru.
