Claude Leroy-Themeze led IEG’s review of World Bank support to tax reforms and the country evaluation of Nepal. She also participated in the cluster country program evaluation on small states and the evaluation of the Africa Action Plan where she was responsible for regional integration and aid effectiveness.

In 2011-15, Claude took a leave of absence from the World Bank and joined the Ministry of Economy and Finance in France where she led the evaluation unit of the Treasury. Claude joined the Work Bank in 1998 as country economist in the Africa region.

Before joining the World Bank, Claude held several macroeconomist positions at the Ministry of Labor, the National institute of Statistics and Economic Studies, and the Central Bank in France and the International Monetary Fund.
