Governance and Anticorruption: From Risks to Results
As part of World Bank’s CSO Forum organized during the Annual Meetings in September of 2011, IEG held an event “Governance and Anticorruption: From Risks to Results.” The event provided a forum to share the findings of recently released IEG’s evaluation of World Bank’s work in Governance and Anticorruption in country-level operations, and an opportunity for idea exchanges among CSO representatives, World Bank management, and governance practitioners. The event highlighted the need to strengthen World Bank’s engagement in the demand side of governance and what can be done better to promote the governance agenda in developing countries.
